Rumbling in for our March ROTM feature, we have our most unique rig yet. Bringing attitude and ingenuity, this Harley Davidson Ultra Classic is presented by Dan Titchywy. Using a custom mounted hitch for his NSR2 rack, Dan is definitely turning some heads when we rolls up to his local trail network.
Give us a quick INTRO- who are you? Where do you live?
I am Dan Titchywy. I live in Kaufman Texas where I work as an IT professional for the county. I also freelance as a professional sound engineer for film, tv, and broadcast.
Give us a quick overview of your rig.
My motorcycle (Harley Davidson Ultra Classic) was given to me by my father before he passed away. I put a receiver hitch on it and purchase your bike rack. I chose your bike rack because of the orientation on of the bike when placed on it. It allows be to corner the bike normally without risk for the MTB dragging.
Tell us about any special modifications that make your rig stand out.
What make it stand out is that it is on a motorcycle. Two wheel or nothin’.
What is the best road trip you’ve taken your rig on?
I took everything I needed to camp and race my mountain bike at Syllamo's Revenge Mountain Bike Challenge in Mountain View, Arkansas.
What would be your next dream road trip?
I plan to take the rig to Sedona Mountain Bike Festival in Arizona.
How long have you had your North Shore Rack?
Approximately 11 years.
In your travels, what is your favorite riding location/favorite trail?
So far my favorite trails have been in Arkansas.
Coffee, beer or tea?
