Give us a quick INTRO- who are you? Where do you live?

I live in San Jose California. I'm 55, a Respiratory Therapist and have been mountain biking since the early 90's. I did a little cross country racing till about 2005. My only claim to fame was a Team Win at the Laguna Seca 24hrs of Adrenaline.

Give us a quick overview of your rig.

Its a 2018 F150 Roush. I got it right before the pandemic after a trip to Whistler with a family of 5 and 5 bikes and camping gear cramped in a 2005 Tacoma. Its a double cab V8 with a 36 gallon tank lots of room now for friends and family and gear to go wherever we want.

Tell us about any special modifications that make your rig stand out.

None really, Its a Roush. NOT supercharged though, but it still has nearly 400hp and its nice and loud!!

What is the best road trip you’ve taken your rig on?

Best road trip was dropping the Kid off at college in Boulder last year. Stopped in Tahoe, SLC, Wyoming and Colorado for some epic riding.

What would be your next dream road trip?

Haven't been up to Whistler in the rig since I got it but that would be fun. Doing Nor Cal, Oregon, Washington Whistler, Kelowna, Revelstoke, Montana, Utah, Nevada and Tahoe. Pretty much a big loop having fun on the bike, moto, fishing and camping.

How long have you had your North Shore Rack?

I got it in 2020 sometime. I love it. Even just took it all apart, gave it a fresh lube and some fresh paint. Need the North Shore sticker tho.

In your travels, what is your favorite riding location/favorite trail?

We frequent Tahoe a lot along with locally hitting Demonstration Forest and UC Santa Cruz the most. Braille Trail, Flow, Magic Carpet, Dead Camper, Jugs, Double D's. just to name a few as there is too many to list.

Coffee, beer or tea?

Coffee, Beer and Whiskey.

Shuttle/road trip essential tunes?

Got all my old CD's downloaded on my phone and just goes on random. From AC/DC to Tool to Classic Rock along with some chill music like Morcheeba to the Blues and Reggae
