Overview
For December 2023, we would like to give a special introduction to Red Truck Beer Company's 2008 International MXT affectionately known as “Big Red”; the latest addition to their already impressive fleet of trucks. Outfitted with a Straight Mast NSR-6 rack, Big Red is putting in shuttle laps with local Vancouver riding clubs and associations, as well as delivering post ride refreshments. At 8 feet wide and almost 8 feet tall, it’s hard to miss “Big Red” rumbling down the road.
Special Modifications?
“Big Red” was originally sprayed a custom “fire truck red” to make it truly a one-off flagship piece for our brand.
What is the best road trip you’ve taken your rig on?
Big Red has done multiple road trips across the US. Highlights have been Fort Collins, Colorado & all the way down the West Coast, as far as the Baja peninsula.
What would be your next dream road trip?
A multi-day sunshine coast trip with countless shuttle runs mixed in!
How long have you had your North Shore Rack?
We have our North Shore Rack for 5 months now. It has been the perfect addition to “Big Red” & enabled us to facilitate shuttle days to many groups on the North Shore.
In your travels, what is your favorite riding location/favorite trail?
There are so many amazing trails out there, but nothing beats the North Shore! Boundary on Fromme & Boogeyman on Seymour are some of our staff picks for favorites.
Coffee, beer, or tea?
Nothing goes better after a ride than an ice cold beer!
Shuttle/road trip essential tunes?
We are all about the classic singalongs here at Red Truck (we apologize in advance if you hear us blasting these on our shuttle rides!
