No Duckin' Around with this jeep
Kicking off All Time Fall Time, we have Ducky the diesel Jeep Grand Cherokee from the BC Interior. Presented by Sean, Ducky is a rig that has had a lot of aftermarket love added to it, and not just a dashboard rubber duck, so that it can take on BC's most remote riding destinations.
Give us a quick INTRO- who are you? Where do you live?
Sean Kershaw, Vernon, BC
Give us a quick overview of your rig.
2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee Diesel with over 315,000km - driven a ton all over BC from Prince Rupert to Cranbrook to Campbell River. My bike has gone with me on every occasion.
Tell us about any special modifications that make your rig stand out.
Many Banks Power *upgrades* (full delete, exhaust, intake, programming) - 33' BFG A/T K02’s on 17' Black Iron wheels - Rough Country 2.5’ Lift - BC pinstripe paint job as it sees offroad often. Not your average grocery-getter. It's usually the exhaust sound that makes people look twice. Sounds like a Cummins/Powerstroke love child. And no, I do not roll coal.
What is the best road trip you’ve taken your rig on?
My most recent trip through the Kootenays for work from Nelson to Castlegar through Cranbrook, Fernie, Golden and into Revy - some excellent spots to ride!
What would be your next dream road trip?
DREAM would be a trip through the US and the Western States. The more obscure and remote, the better.
How long have you had your North Shore Rack?
Four years now, the most used accessory I’ve ever purchased (60+ times this year and counting). Love it.
In your travels, what is your favorite riding location/favorite trail?
Most recently, Castlegars Merry Go Round trail was super unique and fun to climb, with a bridge feature unlike anything I’ve ever seen before. Highly recommended.
Coffee, beer or tea?
Tea
Shuttle/road trip essential tunes?
Hip Hop guy, so usually Kendrick/J.Cole/Nas/Tribe/J5 to name a few.
